🚨IT’S HERE! THE LAST JAYNE NOVEL IS HERE!
Hello, friends!
I am beside myself excited to share that the final novel in the Jayne Thorne, CIA Librarian series releases today!!!
I am so very grateful to you for going on this journey with me. Writing these books has stretched me as an author, helped me expand my craft, my imagination, even my patience at times. It has brought me a slew of new friends and introduced me to so many incredibly indie fantasy authors. Over the past six years, these books have been more than a side gig for me—they have become a part of my heart and soul. Jayne, Sofia, Cillian, Tristan, Vivenne, Ruger, Amanda, Seo-joon, Henry, Quimby, the goddesses, Hayden, even vile Odin, plus all the rest of the CIA librarian world, are imprinted in me now. Their legacy lives on in you, now, too.
I hope you love this final installment of the story. I hope you’ll continue to seek out books from Alisha and Rachel and Claire, who helped so much to bring these stories to life. And I hope that if you enjoy the voice, pace, and adventure in these books, you may be inclined to try some of my alter-ego’s thrillers.
I hope you will join me in thanking Kim Killion for her incredible artwork over the years. She brought Jayne to life in several iterations, and all of them have been wonderful!
Merci beaucoup to the incomparable Erin Moon, whose narration brought everyone to LIFE!
Deepest thanks to Miss Flis who copyedited her heart out on every book, and made them all so much better.
A special thank you to Jennifer Jakes, who was the alpha reader on all of these books. Her consistent enthusiasm for Jayne and friends really helped me along the path. And it is thanks to her that what happens at the very end of the book happens the way it does.
And PA Paige, who makes all my communications with you beautiful.
Thank you to all the authors over the years who have blurbed, championed, shared this book with their readers, and otherwise loved our Jayne., too.
Thank you to the booksellers who took a chance on stocking Jayne, especially Parnassus, Poisoned Pen, and Murder by the Book, and all the linrarians who’ve been handing her to their patrons.
One last thank you to my amazing beta readers, who never held back in making sure the story was to their standards.
And to you, my darling readers. The brilliant rogues in all our lives. I hope you will always allow a little magic into your hearts.
Blessed be,
Joss Walker
